As soon as I got my hands on the rushes for Joyce and Alex’s wedding day, I knew they would be wanting something unique. The videographers were so impressed with the grandeur of the day and of the stunning location of Ashridge House that they really wanted me to show this off in this powerhouse of a tease video.

Just like how their thrilling day ended with the bang of fireworks, I wanted this video to start with a bang too and this was shaped heavily with the dramatic piano piece I chose for the background track. Incorporating the traditional fairytale castle of Ashridge House with the additional Chinese ceremony was a fun challenge but one which ended up blending seamlessly.

The videographers wanted a dark and dramatic grade for this which is something I’d not normally go for on a wedding video. But it worked out fantastically and really suits the mood of the teaser.
